>1968 Gibson Les Paul Standard Goldtop Rare Vintage
1968 Gibson Les Paul Standard Goldtop with original case. This is a fantastic example of an extremely rare guitar! It is 100% factory stock with the exception of one replaced pot(with a correct 1967 pot) and the input jack(original in the case). The guitar has typical checking but has NO Buckle Rash, No Green Finish Wear and only a hint of fret wear. It has the very rare Crown headstock inlay. It does have a few minor nicks and chips but no major damage. The three original pots date to the 46th week of 1967. One piece neck and one piece body, of course and the wide binding in the cutaway. This guitar looks, plays and sounds like a dream come true! Additional photos upon request. Includes original Gibson hardshell case.

Shipping is viaFEDEX Ground unless you have specific needs which I will try to accomodate. International shipments can be via US Postal Service, FEDEX or UPS. While FEDEX and UPS are much more expensive they allow tracking and insurance payouts are more likely. While the US Postal Service has been quite reliable for me insurance claims can be a real hassle. All shipping charges include insurance. Insurance way be limited to some countries. Please check with www.usps.com.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: I highly recommend that you visit the US Postal Service Website at www.usps.com to investigate the cost of shipping to your country. The US Postal Service is constantly changing its International shipping rates and size limitations. Please use the following information to check the cost of shipping on any item I sell to your particular country. I ship from Syosset, NY 11791. The average guitar, properly packed, weighs 25lbs. and has box dimensions of 46"x19"x7". Please add for insurance. I typically add a $20.00 charge for handling and materials.
The US Postal Service will not ship a full length guitar case(with guitar in it) via Priority Mial International(the cheapest International method)to the following countries(that I know of so far): Australia, Russia, Israel, Columbia, Chile, South Africa, Argentina, Brazil.
